August 2017 Newsletter

Dear Parents,

I would like to welcome all our students! I hope everyone had a great vacation and is ready for a great school year!

Just a little information for our parents. Children will bring in their own snack or if you’re signed up for a full day, please bring your lunch as well. Don’t forget to bring an extra change of clothes and please leave that in your child’s bag pack. Your child’s clothes will remain in their own individual bag packs. Every child will need to bring their own individual stationery containers that they will bring home daily, please replenish them when needed.

Items in the container should include: colored pencils, a pair of child’s scissors, a glue stick, two pencils, an eraser, and child’s dry erase markers.

Please write your child’s name on the container. If you could bring in a box of tissues too, that would be great!

I am looking forward to a fun year of learning with all your children. If your child is starting school for the first time, it is likely that your child may have separation anxiety. If your child happens to have a melt down, it normally last for a brief moment and it’s better to say your “goodbyes” sooner than later.

Please let your child know that you will return to pick them up after school. I appreciate your cooperation, thank you for your help. This month I will review the classroom rules and our routines. I will introduce the children to all their new friends so that they would have no problem socializing with one another. I will emphasize about the importance of friendship and how we should treat each other with kindness and respect.
